Quartz cannot go outside or take direct heat
Two hard limits. First, UV degrades the resin binder, so exterior use voids warranty on every major brand. Second, a 400-degree pan set directly on quartz can leave a permanent white heat mark because resin scorches where stone does not. Use a trivet.
