Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. This page lists the categories we use and how to turn the optional ones off.

Categories we use
| Category | What it does | Can you decline? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site working: page routing, form security, remembering your cookie choice and your opt-out preferences. | Cannot be switched off — the site will not function without them. |
| Analytics / performance | Understand which pages and estimator steps people use, where they drop off, and how fast pages load, so we can improve the site. | Optional. Rejected if you decline non-essential cookies. |
| Advertising / targeting | Measure which ads and referring sites produce inquiries, suppress ads from people who already submitted, and build audiences on ad platforms. These may involve sharing identifiers with third parties, which some state laws treat as a 'sale' or 'sharing' of personal information. | Optional. Rejected if you decline non-essential cookies or send a GPC signal. |
Other tracking technologies
- Pixels and tags embedded by advertising and analytics platforms, which load when you view a page or submit a form.
- Local storage in your browser, used to remember your cookie banner choice and estimator progress.
- Server logs recording IP address, user agent, referring URL and timestamps.
- Email and SMS tracking — messages we send may include a tracking pixel or wrapped link that tells us whether the message was opened or clicked.
How to control cookies
- Use the cookie banner on this site to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your mind by clearing site data and reloading.
- Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in a supporting browser or extension — we honor it as an opt-out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and enable "Do Not Track" if you prefer, though blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
- Opt out of interest-based advertising industry-wide at optout.aboutads.info, youradchoices.com or the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page.
- Use mobile OS settings to limit ad tracking on iOS and Android.
