Consent to Contact
This page reproduces, word for word, the express written consent language shown next to the submit button on our cost estimator — plus what it means and how to take it back.

The consent language you agree to
By checking this box and clicking "Unlock My Instant Estimate", I give my express written consent for Charlotte Stone and Tile and up to four of its licensed contractor partners to contact me at the phone number and email address I provided — including by automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, SMS text message, and email — about home improvement products and services. I understand that consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, that message and data rates may apply, that I may reply STOP to opt out of texts, and that I may instead call (704) 555-0199. I also agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and I understand that Charlotte Stone and Tile is a marketing and referral service — not the contractor performing the work — and that my information will be sold or shared with contractors.
What this means in plain English
- You are agreeing that we and up to four licensed contractor partners may call, text and email you about your project.
- Those calls may be placed with automated dialing technology and may use prerecorded or artificial voice messages.
- Consent is not required to buy anything. You can skip the form entirely and simply call (704) 555-0199 instead.
- Your carrier's normal message and data rates apply to any texts you receive; we do not charge for them.
- Contact may continue for a reasonable period while we work on your inquiry, and may include follow-ups if you do not answer.
- Because we are a lead generation service, your submission is sold or shared with the contractors who will contact you. See our Trust & Disclosures page.
What we record
When you check the box and submit, we store the consent text above exactly as displayed, the date and time of your submission, and the name, phone number, email address and ZIP code you entered. We keep this record for at least five years so we can demonstrate that consent was given.
How to revoke consent
You may withdraw consent at any time, by any reasonable method:
- Reply STOP, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or CANCEL to any text message we send.
- Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
- Tell any caller you want to be placed on our internal do-not-call list.
- Email info@charlottestoneandtile.com or call (704) 555-0199.
- Submit our Do Not Call / Opt Out request — the fastest option.
We process revocations within 10 business days and maintain an internal do-not-call list indefinitely. Important: revoking consent with us does not automatically stop a contractor who already received your inquiry. You must ask that contractor directly, or ask us and we will tell you who received it and forward your request.
National Do Not Call Registry
You can register your number free at donotcall.gov or by calling 1-888-382-1222. Note that registration does not block companies you have given express written consent to — which is why the revocation options above matter.
